Aston Sandford holds a Communion service on the third Sunday of each month and services on Easter Sunday, at Harvest Festival, on Remembrance Day and a Carol Service on Christmas Eve. The services are all traditional in style using Common Worship Order 1 and have usually been led by a retired priest who has acted as chaplain to this congregation. After services the congregation is invited to coffee in one of the houses in the village. There is no village hall or equivalent building. On average there are a wedding and baptism every couple of years and one or two funerals a year.
Kingsey also continues to have a warm prayer book tradition, with two Communion services a month and occasional Matins and Evensongs. The congregation for these services are a mix between village residents and a number of people from the other parts of the benefice. Our love of music is enhanced by our choir which sings every second Sunday of the month at the Communion service. Each year the church hosts a Benefice Evensong, usually on a summer evening.
