Poppy Appeal
The annual Poppy Appeal will be starting next month again and I hope that all existing sellers can help once again in this extremely important campaign. If you would like to collect on behalf of the Royal British Legion, either door to door or a static sales point in a business please let me know.

Missing Mothers Union Banner
This banner is part of the heritage of the church at Stone.
The banner was on display in the main body of the church attached to a processional staff........ The staff remains but the banner has disappeared.
Do you know where it has gone?? Information on its whereabouts is sort by the churchwarden. If you can shed any light on this matter please contact Either Eryl or Raymond.

Stone Fete Meeting
The next fete planning meeting will be Wednesday 21st September at 7 pm at the Jubilee Pavilion with photographs from this year’s fete.

National Weekend of Prayer
On the weekend of 23-25 September churches across the country will be praying for their local communities, and we are taking part in this movement. It is an opportunity for us to invite requests for prayer from our friends and neighbours and we hope everyone will participate. Please visit www.stonedintonhartwell.com/news and complete the prayer request form.
On the Saturday afternoon 2-4pm SJB will be open for prayer and the prayer requests will be collected together on a prayer tree. The tree will also be available at the morning service in SPP on the Sunday. Then at 3pm Sunday afternoon, Rev Cannon Phil Groves will lead us in an hour of prayer for our community.
